Weathered and Cracked Effect Bonsai Pot Video

View a short video below that demonstrates how I create the weathered, cracked effect on some of my bonsai pots. This piece was thrown using a grey clay body and covered with white clay slip and sodium silicate. Once the slip has been heated to a dry state, the form can be expanded and shaped to create the surface crack effect.
